On this whirlwind project, the team at Tyler Perry Studios had ninety days, from concrete slab being poured to the first day of filming. Josh was in charge of architectural detailing: creating and coordinating the necessary floor plans and elevations with the architectural team and mechanical trades as well as providing any specific architectural detailing to match the real White House. In order to find and create such a large amount of unique details in such a short period of time, the team improvised much of the millwork detailing and worked with fabricators from all over the country to create everything from custom Corinthian columns for the East Room to  an enlarged custom cornice for the exterior parapet.​
